What is the Neurotech Collider Lab?
The Neurotech Collider Lab is an interdisciplinary initiative presented by the Bakar BioEnginuity Hub and Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology at UC Berkeley. It serves as a node for navigating and shaping the evolving landscape of neurotechnology through innovative approaches to collaboration and problem-solving.
What is the Neurotech Collider Lab’s approach to innovation?
The lab fosters innovation through interdisciplinary collaboration, offering courses for Berkeley students, hosting speaker series and events, facilitating thought leadership, providing expertise and upskilling opportunities, fostering community building, and offering connections for new ventures in the field of neurotechnology.

Absolutely! While we have dedicated staff who contribute to our Thought Leadership page, we are open to publishing quality work on our website. Please reach out to Media Communications Specialist Niki Borghei at nikib@berkeley.edu to see if your article is an ideal fit for our page.
I’m a student. How can I get involved?
Keep an eye out for our courses! “Transforming Brain Health with Neurotech: A Berkeley Changemaker® Course” is a 4-unit challenge lab open to students from all academic backgrounds, both undergraduates and graduates. The full course description is available here.
I’m an entrepreneur. How can I get involved?
While we currently do not offer lab space, equipment, or extensive consulting services for neurotech startups, we encourage you to sign up for our mailing list at the bottom of this page to be alerted when we have opportunities for entrepreneurs to get involved. In addition, please check out the abundant resources UC Berkeley offers to entrepreneurs at the Berkeley Gateway to Innovation (BEGIN) and Berkeley Innovators.
I’m a faculty member. How can I get involved?
Faculty are encouraged to share their relevant publications and startups with us for distribution through our Thought Leadership page and social media. If you are interested in being featured on our ChatterBrains.ai podcast or have other ideas for getting involved, please reach out to Gail Gannon at gannon@berkeley.edu.
